Integrated refrigeration units are fixed installations designed to fit directly into a mortuary or conservation area. They can accommodate from 1 to 12 bodies, depending on the model, and are made from sandwich panels with reinforced thermal insulation. These cells offer excellent temperature maintenance, controlled consumption and excellent airtightness. They are ideal for structures with a regular volume of activity and permanent needs.
Mobile cells are mounted on chassis or trailers, making them easy to transport and ideal for outdoor or temporary use. They are often used during health crises, in isolated areas or to equip one-off event sites. Despite their mobility, they retain all the thermal performance and safety features of fixed models. Funeral cells are available in a range of volumes, generally from 1 to 12 bodies, with expandable modules on request. Dimensions can be adapted to the space available in the facility: side, front or mixed, with passage heights and depths adjusted to suit requirements. Each cell can be fitted with rails, slides, compartments or cart supports.
The refrigeration units installed ensure a constant temperature, generally between 0°C and +5°C, guaranteeing the preservation of bodies over an extended period. Each unit is equipped with a digital temperature regulator, alarm system and control probe. Units are individually tested for 48 hours before shipment, to ensure optimum thermal performance even in environments with high ambient heat.
EIHF Isofroid cells are designed and manufactured in our workshops in Sarcey, near Lyon, using robust, washable, corrosion-resistant materials: pre-painted steel or stainless steel panels, polyurethane insulation, non-slip floors, reinforced seals. Every element is designed to ensure durability, ease of maintenance and compliance with health standards. The modular design also makes maintenance and assembly quick and easy.
